April 23, 2003- You know how you always think to yourself.. gee.. if you told me 3 years ago that I'd be where I am right now, I'd never believe it?! Well.. what about wondering now what outrageous thing you'll be doing then. Life always has unexpected twists and turns for us. I personally, always like to go down the most intriguing path, but that's just me. And lemme tell ya.. that's not always the easiest path. *hurumph* ..

Anyway, so I was thinkin to myself: Where is this Camera thing going?

Today as I found myself looking at Hasselblads and cheaper Bronicas (Hasselblad knock offs- but dont tell their owners that) on ebay, plotting ways to acquire such treasures, I wondered if I would ever have one. I mean, thumping back to earth here for a second, I suck at photography.. now dont go emailin me and whatnot, cause it's true. I'm learning photography, I'm in love with cameras, but lets face it... I stink.

But let's say this course somehow pans out.. I go on to photo2 and 3 and 4 and all the way through.. then what? What am I gonna do with my camera? Have a boring old photostudio where I churn out miles of photographs of stupid smiling people with green stuff in their teeth? Have one of those boring stale sterile photographer studios where the most imagination is "oo I think I'll do the marbly background on the Smith family this time!"

I think probably, I"ll never have a Bronica or a Hasselblad, but you know, It's so much fun to dream about!
